What I need from you
A full brand identity (logo, fonts, colours, assets)

Your full attention during the week. It will be an intense schedule with pre-planned meetings, but I’ll also need you to be on hand to answer questions/give me feedback as needed (no ghosting, okay!)
To purchase your Squarespace Business plan (I can get you 20% off on your first year) and domain
Existing social media accounts, your email marketing account and/or any other 3rd-party apps needed to complete your site. If they don’t exist yet, you’ll have to set them up in advance!

so how does it work?
Before
We’ll start preparing for your website one month before your chosen week. I’ll share checklists and resources so that you can gather all of the necessary assets like branding, copy and images.

I’ll get the project started by working on the wireframes (content plan for each site page) and the look & feel of your homepage. I’ll share these with in preparation for our first video call so I can get your initial feedback.

After finalising the design and wireframes, it’s time for me to start building! I’ll pop some music on, get in the zone and have your site build done in no time. I’ll share a link and password that afternoon for you to view the first draft of your website!

I'll spent the day taking in your feedback, sharing updates with you and asking you plenty of questions to get it just right. I'll also let you know about any content that's still missing.
The second draft version of your site will be with you by the end of the day, ready for you to give some more feedback.

Now that the content and layout is pretty much there, I’ll work on optimising your website for mobile, as that’s where most of your customers will view it.
We’ll have our second video call to discuss any areas that need improving or fixing.
Then I’ll share the final version of the site with you for sign-off at the end of the day. How exciting! ☺️

I’ll go through your site with a fine-tooth comb to check that all is working correctly (no broken links, on-page SEO is set up, contact forms are working etc.)
When all of the details are finalised, I’ll get in touch to confirm you’re happy and then it’s time to GO LIVE! Finally, I’ll transfer ownership of the site to you and we can kick back to cheers to the weekend 🥂
After
When your site is live, I’ll share 3 handover videos so you know how to edit and update your site. You’ll then have my support for 30 days to answer any questions that come up and to fix any small issues that may arise.

Squarespace is my website platform of choice for my ‘Website in a Week’ packages. I enjoy its design interface and, after many years of building on it, it’s a platform I really know my way around for things like domains, coding, etc.
It’s also my recommended platform for clients because it’s an all-in-one solution that’s easy to manage and maintain.

To take advantage of this package, you must have a minimum of 1 logo, 3 brand colours and 1 brand font that I can apply to your website. If you need help with this, I’m happy to recommend some talented brand designers you can work with.
When you have the minimum branding requirements ready, we can proceed with booking your ‘Website in a Week’ slot.

Absolutely! I’ll design your site off Squarespace first so we can get your design just right. Then I begin building with a blank Squarespace site, setting up your branding and building each page to your specific business needs.
I also use custom coding to ensure that your website doesn’t feel like ‘just another Squarespace site’.
